Crooks & Castles was founded in 2002 by Dennis Calvero and Robert Panlilio, who felt the need for a brand that totally represented their lifestyle. Crooks & Castles often promote a dark picture, both in design and philosophy, that reflects on how Calvero and Panlilio grew up in inner city Los Angeles.
