Obey

Obey founded in 2001 by Shepard Fairey. A man who since early age had a passion for art that has been related to skateboarding culture and his passion for music and graphics on pop, rock and hip-hop album covers. Shepard joined the Rhode Island School of Design where he studied illustation and discovered screen printing, a few years later he saw clothing as an opportunity to be creative on many levels. He has worked closely with fashion designers such as Mike Ternosky and Erin Wignall and his philosophy about art and personal influences created a brand that appeals to many genres.
