By the late 70´s the jogging boom in the US had spread worldwide. Japanese brand Onitsuka Tiger named this style Californa to honor the birth place of the popular sport, and added refelective pieces to the shoe since the latest thing then was to go jogging in the evening. An important and popular release back in 1978, and today a great O.G. vintage retro release.
