Hailing from Staten Island, New York, brotherly tastemakers and creative duo Dee & Ricky is known for projects such as their LEGO crafted accessories (seen on artists like Kanye West) and their G-Shock and Marc Jacobs collaborations. Now the anticipated colab with OG sneakerbrand PONY (Products Of New York) is here. The PONY x Dee & Ricky Slamdunk High is a slimmer takedown on PONY´s Slam Dunk Mid, and it features a black wooly interchangable upper that allows the wearer to customize the sneaker with the different multi-colored alphabet letter pack and PONY logos that comes with the sneaker box. Add to this the cheetah inner lining and the colorful lace eyelets. With the cheetah printed sneaker box comes an extra Dee & Ricky box with laces in 8 different colors. In these times of limited-edition-premium-colab-everything it makes us happy to see interesting and creatively executed projects like this that really stand out among others.
